The food and ambiance are the best parts of this restaurant. I concur with other reviewers that the service is slightly slow and the servers are not always responsive. It took nearly 5 - 10 mins for us to get a replacement fork because the one at the table was dirty. The music can be loud. They have a DJ at nights, which is a nice addition, but the music is so loud that you can barely talk to your friends or date at the table. I wouldn't recommend this place for a first date. The pan seared salmon with crab cream sauce was quite tasty! The prices are a little high as many of the entrees are roughly $40 - $50 each. You do get a nice amount of food for the price. If you're a light eater, you can get two meals out of an entree.

I went to Victory for the first time and overall I enjoyed the food. Leading up to me going I looked them up to see what kind of vibe it would give and it was pretty chill (well on the night I went). I went on a Thursday night and it was raining out so it wasn't busy at all. It was smaller than what I thought it would be however the decor was beautiful. The waitress was very nice and even suggested some of her favorite items. I ordered the Victory Shrimp and I loved it. It was basically fried shrimp and it had some victory sauce on top. I would definitely order that again.

My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday brunch. When we arrived they sat us upstairs and it was kind of cold so they put us in the covered patio where it was heated. AJ was our server and he was cool. I ordered the bottomless mimosas and my boyfriend got the vodka tonic. They were playing good music while we sat. When we ordered our entrées I ordered the chicken and waffle and boy was it good. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. My boyfriend got the steak and eggs and he loved it. When the bill came 20% gratuity was included. All in all we had a good time and would definitely return.

Came here on a Thursday night for a girlfriends birthday dinner. None of us had any regrets! The vibe of this place is everything. It's an intimate black owned establishment. The music was EVERYTHING, the food was good, and all the appetizers had us wanting more! I would definitely come back to this spot. Just keep in mind it is a little expensive. The hookah was around $75 I believe and the food comes with a decent amount but all the entrees are around $42. Personally, I don't think the entrees are worth $42 because I wasn't WOWed by my food. However, I did enjoy it. Our bill for 5 people, 5 entrees, and appetizers, drinks, and hookah was $500. There is an additional tax (which isn't gratuity) which was an additional $70-80. So you still have to tip on top of all of this. I'd come back but just for appetizers and drinks. Appetizers were in $20 range and it doesn't come with a lot but it does taste good.
